Creation of a new building for the laboratories of the competence centre of the University of Florence called “RISE”, built in a ready made technique with wooden structure.

The building, created for the RISE laboratories of the University of Florence, was built with a laminated wood technique. This construction technique meets the requirements of eco-sustainability, speed of construction, sound insulation, thermal and energy efficiency, as well as being in line with recent anti-seismic regulations.

In addition, special systems have been set up for the laboratories for the medical gases required by the university research activities. Traffic mobility and lighting have also been implemented.
The building is presented as a new functional and environmentally sustainable construction, thanks to the use of ready made insulating modules and special systems that make it an example of innovation and modernity.
